FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – After many gloomy and unpleasant days during the month of January, the first weekend of February will greet us with some brighter and sunnier weather 🙂 Clouds will briefly hang around into the mid to late morning hours Saturday, followed by sunny skies in the afternoon. Temperatures will run a couple degrees warmer than normal, rising into the low-to-mid 40s for highs. Clear skies will be the story for the remainder of the evening into the overnight time frame as lows eventually fall into the mid 20s. A brief period of cloud cover is expected on Sunday with sunshine taking over a couple hours past dawn. It will be just a tad warmer than Saturday, with temperatures maxing out in the mid 40s. Overall, it will be a pleasant and dry first weekend to February. If you want to go outdoors and for a nice hike, this would be the weekend to do so.
