FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – There is an adage as old as the Bible that light casts out darkness, and it’s a strategy that the City of Fort Wayne is using to fight crime. “If we can make the physical environment conducive to being there and being safe, just, you know, living your life and not having to worry about that. We think of that as a smarter, more efficient way to do enforcement rather than wait until something has already happened, which is too late,” said Joe Giant, Redevelopment Manager with Fort Wayne.
