Child taken to hospital after being hit by SUV on Fort Wayne’s south side

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A teenager was in non-life-threatening condition Friday morning after being hit by an SUV on Fort Wayne’s south side. Police and medics were called to the scene of a pedestrian struck before 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Fairfield and Pasadena according to dispatchers. That’s near the Southwood Park neighborhood. WANE 15 has learned the victim is a 13-year-old boy who has been taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries. He is a Fort Wayne Community Schools student.
