Jury finds man guilty in 2017 killings

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A jury in Allen Superior Court found a 35-year-old Fort Wayne man guilty of two counts each of murder, felony murder and robbery Friday in connection to the stabbing deaths of two people in 2017.

Dustin Neal now faces upwards of more than 200 years in prison at his sentencing in March.

The charges against Neal stem from the discovery of the killings of 25-year-old Noele Trice and 29-year-old Bryan Lash.

2017 killings suspect held in Wells County, could appear in Allen Superior Court soon

Trice and Lash had hosted a party at their home the night before to watch basketball, according to Allen Superior Court documents. One witness at the party later told police in court documents most of the guests there were “actually there to buy marijuana” sold by Trice.

That witness also placed Neal as one of the guests that night.
