FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department (FWFD) responded to a house fire on the city’s southeast side on Monday night. Firefighters were called to a home on Montagne Drive, near the intersection of Hessen Cassel and E Tillman Roads, at about 9:30 p.m. Crews say when they arrived, they found a “heavy, active” fire burning in the back of the house extending to the attic.
