ALBION, Ind. (WPTA) – A local animal sanctuary tops their 2023 record following a Valentine’s Day-themed virtual fundraiser. The Black Pine Animal Sanctuary ran a virtual fundraiser, Nothing but Crickets, encouraging people to buy a cricket for $5 and name it after an ex with the promise of the crickets being used as treats for the animals on Valentine’s Day.
