You can help I&M name the newborn falcon chicks

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Nestled at the very top of the Indiana Michigan Power Center in downtown Fort Wayne are four newborn peregrine falcon chicks that have yet to be named.

The chicks hatched recently to parents Moxie and Jamie, I&M announced Wednesday, and you can vote on what their names will be.

Among the options are “Tom” and “Cindy” – a sweet tribute to the late Mayor Tom Henry and his wife – and even a nod to WANE 15 with the name “Wane”.

Rank your top picks in the online survey. Voting lasts until May 15.

The four winning names will be announced May 17 at a banding and naming ceremony in
partnership with Soarin’ Hawk Raptor Rehab, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and the Indiana Audubon Society.

I&M said the list of names was put together with help from the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo’s Teens for Nature Program.
