Wind dies down tonight, scattered showers this weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Wind gusts have ranged from 25 mph to 40 mph today due to remnants of Helene finally making it into our neck of the woods. These strong gusts will die down through the evening, however, and become noticeably calmer after sunset. Meanwhile, showers continue to pinwheel through the Ohio Valley, so areas of light to, perhaps at times moderate, rain can be expected this evening into the overnight hours.
