First Alert Forecast: A comfortable weekend with a slight chance of rain

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – A big cooldown is anticipated for early next week with the potential for the first frost. The start of the weekend will be a little on the cool side, temperatures will be in the upper 50s and low 60s before daybreak. Expect highs for today to kind of be all over the place. This is because a front will stall over our area later today, bringing 60s for highs northward and some communities southward could flirt with 80 (Fort Wayne’s high is right in the middle: 76). Most of the day looks dry with partly cloudy skies. The best chance for rain will arrive late on Saturday past around 8 pm and will last into early Sunday. A few rumbles of thunder are possible north of US-30 Saturday night, but severe weather is not anticipated!
