AUBURN, Ind. (WANE) — Auburn Bowl is teaming up with the Auburn Texas Roadhouse and American Legion Post to create an unforgettable time for veterans Monday.
Bowling will be free at allotted hours for veterans throughout the day, no sign-up or call-in needed. Even if veterans may not want to bowl, Kara Hand, one of the owners of Auburn Bowl, said that it will be a great experience with or without the bowling, as other events will be going on throughout the morning.
Breakfast will be served by the American Legion next door to Auburn Bowl. Later in the morning, there will be color Guard and a Gun Solute & Taps, with the National Anthem shortly after. During lunchtime, the bowling alley will have Veterans Community Lunch provided by Texas Roadhouse.
There will also be a door prize for veterans, one ticket each, from the Home Depot in Auburn.
Veterans Monday can also get a voucher from Texas Roadhouse to use for free food in both the Auburn and Fort Wayne locations.
