Komets gear up for busy stretch to close out 2024

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Komets are hoping to avoid a holiday hangover following the ECHL’s Christmas break. Fort Wayne begins a 7-game stretch in 10 days on Friday, including five of them at the Jungle.

Heading into the final weekend of 2024, the Komets sit in third place in the ECHL’s Central Division with 31 points. However, Iowa and Toledo, who are ahead of the Komets, have played more games than Fort Wayne.

Fort Wayne visits the Fishers Event Center for a battle with the Indy Fuel on Friday. Then the Komets host the Cincinnati Cyclones on Saturday, followed by another home game against the Fuel on Sunday.
