Davis, Crew Life get into holiday spirit with Christmas Break camp

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Nearly a decade ago, former Highlight Zone star Rapheal Davis was a defensive force at Mackey Arena with the Purdue Boilermakers.

Fast forward to now, and Davis continues to impact the next generation through his love of basketball.

The Fort Wayne native and former South Side standout wrapped up his Christmas Break camp on Tuesday at OPS Dupont. The camp is one of many hosted through Davis’s non-profit, Crew Life Foundation. Davis’s non-profit aims to help youth in Fort Wayne and across the Hoosier state through basketball camps, educational programming, backpack drives and college opportunity tours.

While in Fort Wayne, WANE 15’s Josh Ayen caught up with Davis to chat about his Crew Life Foundation and his thoughts on the Boilermakers as Purdue gets set to resume Big Ten play.
