College volleyball standouts back in Summit City

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Fresh off helping the University of Louisville advance to the national championship match, Blackhawk Christian High School graduate Cara Cresse was among the handful of current college standouts that were back in the Summit City on Thursday night, as a group of Empowered Volleyball club alums scrimmaged local high school players from the Pineapple High Performance Volleyball Club at SPORTONE/Parkview Fieldhouse.

Other local college players that suited up on Thursday include Brooke Smith (Leo HS/Dayton), Delaney Hogan (Dwenger HS/Kentucky), Abbie Cresse (Blackhawk Christian HS/Dayton), and Taeley Mahler (Homestead HS/Eastern Michigan).
