Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Officers responded to a call from a residence near 36th and Dearborn Street, where they found 4-year-old Corione Butts suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Paramedics rushed the toddler to a local hospital in critical condition.
Later that same evening, officers were called to a residence in the 4500 block of Golden Meadows Street and Moller Road, where they discovered 5-year-old Jayden Ewing also suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
