Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control officers respond to over 300 urgent calls in February

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — It has been a busy start of 2025 for Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control (FWACC). While taking in 590 animals, they have also had an impact out in the community.

After releasing the statistics on how control officers helped the community, they responded to 310 urgent calls last month. This includes animal cruelty or neglect, welfare checks, or public and animal safety.
