U.S. Postal Service workers host rally to fight dismantling the postal service

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — U.S. Postal Service workers plan to gather on the courthouse lawn Sunday in hopes of saying “hell no” to dismantling the postal service.

The rally, backed by the National Association of Letter Carriers , hopes to bring attention to how privatizing or restructuring the U.S. Postal Service could be detrimental to the 640,000 postal employees and the service “every American relies on,” according to a flyer received by WANE 15.

Just a week ago, U.S. Postal Workers gathered at the Allen County Courthouse to share the importance of letter carriers nationwide and allow the community to meet the face behind their mail…
