FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Fort Wayne Community Schools announced Monday night that about 20 jobs are being eliminated and not replaced.
“We are not replacing those people,” said Mark Daniel, FWCS Superintendent. “We’re moving people into those positions. So we are combining positions or spreading those duties out.”
The move comes as the Indiana Statehouse ponders budget cuts for education. Rather than wait, Daniel and FWCS decided to do it early to allow those who want to keep working the time to find a new job…
