An Indiana man who “had enough” of arguing with his girlfriend pulled out a pistol and shot her to death — firing a single round into the woman that sent her falling to the ground before allegedly opening fire again while standing over her, police say.
Michael Miles, 53, of Fort Wayne, is facing a charge of murder for the Saturday night shooting of his girlfriend, Angela Marie Cobb, 52, at a residence in the 400 block of West Wildwood Avenue. Authorities say Miles was located in the area and taken into custody about two hours after the 6:30 p.m. slaying.
“After gathering witness statements and evidence information, officers identified Michael T. Miles as the suspect,” the Fort Wayne Police Department said in a press release . “Following diligent investigative work, officers located Miles near Bowser and McKinnie Avenues and arrested him without incident.”
