Fort Wayne man accused of climbing onto second-floor apartment balcony, breaking in for burglary

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A 20-year-old Fort Wayne man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly breaking into a second-floor apartment through its sliding glass window early Monday morning.

Simon Jones Jr. is charged with felony burglary, criminal confinement, intimidation, pointing a firearm at another and misdemeanor battery.

Jones allegedly climbed onto a woman’s second-story balcony and entered through her sliding glass door, court records show. He then attacked the woman and her friend by hitting them in the face…
