17-year-old facing attempted murder charge accused of firing gun at victim

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A Fort Wayne teen is facing an attempted murder charge after allegedly firing four rounds at the victim, with one round going through the victim’s shirt.

Rhyder Willman, 17, was part of a group that jumped the victim’s friend Monday night at the Haverhill Elementary School basketball court, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Two hours later, the victim went to answer a knock at the door when he saw Willman shouting “hey” as he stepped out from behind a car and allegedly fired four rounds at the victim…
