EVANSVILLE – Evansville has weathered more than 6 inches of rain since Wednesday evening – more than a month’s worth in about 72 hours.
That’s according to a National Weather Service update Saturday afternoon. It comes amid historic rainfall and severe storms that have drenched the entire Tri-State and left huge swaths prone to what forecasters are calling “catastrophic” and “life-threatening” flooding.
