Indiana Storm Update: I-69 Corridor to See Strong Thunderstorms From 11 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday

Indianapolis, IN – Overnight thunderstorms are forecast to sweep across central Indiana, with severe weather expected to impact areas along the I-69 corridor beginning late Friday.

According to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis, storms will begin forming between 11 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday in northwest-central Indiana. The threat will expand eastward through the early morning, with widespread storm activity continuing until approximately 10 a.m. Saturday.

The primary hazard is damaging wind gusts, though forecasters warn of hail up to one inch in diameter and the possibility of isolated tornadoes.
