‘Come down here and help us’: Hoosiers impacted by floods left out to dry

CLARK COUNTY, In. (WAVE) – More than two weeks after historic flood water began to recede, parts of southern Indiana are still suffering. As of Friday, homeowners and renters still don’t have any additional assistance from the State Disaster Relief Fund or the federal government.

“Governor Braun hasn’t done anything for us,” Bushman’s Lake resident Ralph Swank said. “We’re just, we’re on the back burner.“
