FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Overnight, temperatures will cool of into the upper 30s, and possibly dropping into the mid 30s for some north of Fort Wayne. This has prompted the NWS to issue a Frost Advisory for Noble, LaGrange and Steuben counties through 8am Sunday. So, if you planted things a little early this year, you’ll want to take steps to protect sensitive plants like covering them with fabric tarp, watering them before bed or bringing them inside, if you can.
However, frost doesn’t look to be a widespread concern Sunday morning, or really for the next week and a half as temperatures are forecast to warm up. Morning lows are forecast to stay above 40 degrees for at least into next weekend. Afternoon highs will climb from the mid-upper 60s on Sunday, into the upper 70s on Monday and low 80s on Tuesday. Then, afternoon high temperatures will fall into the mid-to-upper 60s, about normal for this time of year…
