The Fort Wayne Marathon and Half Marathon hits the streets of the Summit City

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — For the third year, the Fort Wayne and Half Marathon by Ruble Racing takes over the Summit City.

The race kicks off at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 27. The flat route goes through downtown before weaving through the trail system. Runners will start at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum and make their way downtown on Parnell Avenue and St Joe Boulevard. A few downtown roads will be blocked for the marathon. Participants will make their way across Main Street to the Rivergreenway. The finish line will be located at the Memorial Coliseum parking lot.
