FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Another advancing warm front didn’t necessarily “rain” on our parade this afternoon, but it sure did cloud it up! Hope you were able to enjoy the bright first half of the day at least 🙂
Scattered showers will sweep northward through Northern Indiana and Northwest Ohio tonight into early Thursday, though a lull is expected by around mid morning. A cold front will come racing through in the afternoon and evening, however, which could spark some additional scattered shower/thunderstorm activity. The severe threat looks low, but gusty wind, small hail, lightning, and downpours are all possibilities as the front exits to our east around sunset. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s (thanks to that initial warm front!).
Friday will feature plenty of sunbreaks with a few spotty showers possible in the afternoon as highs cool into the mid and upper 60s…
