One year of 24-hour access at four YMCA locations, fifth to come soon

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne rolled out its 24-hour access to its members one year ago Wednesday. Around 2,800 Y members have 24-hour access.

“The 24-hour access has been a huge hit for us,” said Lou Cucinelli, Director of Marketing, YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne. “In the last year we have rolled it out to four facilities and we are getting ready to roll it out to our fifth and the member response has been amazing.”

The first Y to have 24-hour access was the Whitley County Family YMCA. From there, the Jackson R. Lehman Family YMCA off St. Joe Center Road, then to the Wellness Centers at the Jorgensen Family YMCA on Aboite Center Road and the Caylor-Nickel Foundation Family YMCA…
