FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)—First Fridays on Broadway are taking over the Broadway Corridor as warm weather takes over Summit City. On Friday, May 2, the street festival will pop up from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Put on by the Broadway Arts District FW , a group of residents and creatives passionate about the Broadway area, will run the First Friday fun through all of 2025. You can experience the food, drinks, and shopping that Broadway has to offer. Participants have the opportunity to pop in and out of art galleries, watch live music and art performances, and have their choice of cuisine from pop-ups and food trucks.
“Many of the art-based businesses on Broadway have been here for a while,” participant in First Fridays and owner of Aaron’s Fine Rug Gallery, Dane Leitch, said. “It’s one of the ways to remind Fort Wayne that we have beautiful things right here in the city. We are a beautiful and vibrant city. We have a lot going on.”…
