Coldwater residents injured in Indiana crash

WATERLOO, IN (WTVB) – A single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 69 in DeKalb County, Indiana Friday afternoon left three Coldwater, Michigan residents injured, including a six-year-old child.

The accident occurred just before 1:30 p.m. near mile marker 335, north of the U.S. 6 exit, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

The vehicle, a 2002 Buick LeSabre driven by 46-year-old Kirk Traver was traveling northbound in the passing lane when another vehicle attempted to merge into its lane. To avoid a collision, Traver swerved into the median, but overcorrected multiple times, causing the car to roll over and land on its roof against the median cable barrier…
