FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A Fort Wayne woman avoided jail time Tuesday after being sentenced for her role in a theft ring that resulted in more than 150 iPhones being stolen from an Amazon warehouse in early 2024.
Tanishia Palma received a sentence of more than two years in prison with all of it being suspended. However, an Allen Superior Court judge ruled that Palma must pay Amazon $7,165.
According to court documents, Palma and her boyfriend, Adam Bigger, worked at an Amazon warehouse, stole 154 iPhone 15s and sold them at an estimated value of $138,094. Court records show Bigger was sentenced April 24 to six years in prison — with all of it suspended — and ordered to pay Amazon more than $88,000.

Investigators learned about the theft around the same time police were also looking into Amir Kelly and Omar Kelly, brothers accused of stealing 10 iPhone 15’s from Amazon.
