First Alert Forecast: Turning sharply cooler Thursday before slowly warming back up

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Yet another cold front (a frequent flyer this time of year!) will glide through the Great Lakes region this evening, leading to a cooler day Thursday – highs will likely struggle to get much beyond the low 60s! This front could also increase cloud cover for the first half of the day, though mostly clear skies should return into the afternoon and early evening. This will result in a pretty chilly Friday morning with lows in the upper 30s for most, perhaps mid 30s closer to the Michigan line. While some patchy frost north is not impossible, it will be an exception to the rule!

Temperatures will recover – to a point, anyway – back into the mid and upper 60s Friday before the 70s return for both Saturday and Mother’s Day Sunday!…
