18-year-old charged in shooting that stemmed from fight over stolen liquor

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – An 18-year-old now faces charges in connection to a shooting from this past December.

Tyshawn Chambers is charged with a Level 5 felony count of dangerous possession of a firearm as a child who has previously been convicted of being a child in possession of a firearm. He’s also charged with a Level 6 felony count of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.

Chambers was 17 at the time of the Dec. 26, 2024 shooting that stemmed from an alleged fight between a group of kids, according to Allen Superior County documents filed Thursday…
