First Alert Forecast: Patchy frost possible overnight, 70s still expected over the weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The passage of a cold front earlier today meant cooler high temperatures, but it will also lead to a colder night as lows tumble into the mid to upper 30s! This means a patchy frost is possible, especially closer to the Michigan line where low temperatures may be within a few degrees of freezing. Sensitive plants will probably be OK being covered outdoors in this kind of airmass, though if you can bring them into a shed or garage, even better!

Friday will be a warmer day with highs in the mid to upper 60s, and the brilliant sunshine paired with highs in the 70s will be the theme both Saturday and Sunday…
