FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Lindenwood Nature Preserve is hosting an outdoor experience for moms this Mother’s Day.
For moms who want to spend time outside with their loved ones, the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department invites moms to picnic and hike at the Lindenwood Nature Preserve. Hikers can meet at the campfire circle to eat packed lunches. After lunch, enjoy a guided stroll through the Nature Preserve and see the blooming flora.
“It’s a 110-acre nature preserve,” Lindenwood Nature Preserve naturalist, Paris Stream-Dau, said. “We have animals, plants, we have 80 species of birds that have been sighted here, and some pretty delicate wildflowers that you’re not going to find anywhere else.”…
