ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – Police are investigating a crash that shut down the northbound lanes of US 33 near Churubusco Tuesday afternoon.
The crash occurred shortly before 3 p.m. north of the intersection with Carroll Road, near the northwestern border of Allen County. Traffic on US 33 appeared to be flowing smoothly an hour later.
Sgt. Ken Litzenberg with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department confirmed a dump truck veered off the road and rolled several times, landing in a field.
Emergency crews had to help the driver get out of the truck. That driver had non-life-threatening injuries, Litzenberg said…
