FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) – 330 sixth grade girls from East Allen County, Fort Wayne Community, Northeast Allen County and Southwest Allen County school districts got some firsthand experience of the business world as they visited 44 workplaces where women are in leadership positions.
Take a Girl to Work Day is an annual event hosted by the Women’s Fund which began as a spin-off to the traditional take your daughter to work day, this event inviting girls within the community to go to a professional workplace to see people who look like them.
