Restrictions, closures on I-69 to begin in Huntington County

HUNTINGTON CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says that new restrictions and closures are scheduled for I-69 in Huntington County.

Starting on or after May 27, crews will be working on the I-69 bridges over State Road 5/State Road 218. Work on the project is expected to be complete by mid-June. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.

During construction, S.R. 5/S.R. 218 will be closed between the on and off-ramps of both directions of I-69. Access to southbound I-69 will only be available from the west, with access to northbound I-69 only available to the east.
