Manzanas Luchadores punch back in 6-2 win

MIDLAND, Mich. (WANE) – Despite falling behind 2-0, the TinCaps closed the game with six unanswered runs in a 6-2 win over Great Lakes on Saturday.

Playing as their Hispanic Heritage alter egos, the Manzanas Luchadores, Fort Wayne scored all six runs over the final four innings. Oswaldo Linares tied the game on a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning. Linares reached home plate on a wild pitch to give Fort Wayne their first lead of the night. Leo De Vries then padded on to the TinCaps’ lead with a RBI single to close out a 4-run sixth inning.
