FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne Mayor Sharon Tucker and officials from the U.S. Conference of Mayors and the American Beverage Association for a Healthy America (ABFHA) will kick off the Plant, Pick & Plate program on June 6, 2025, at Johnnie Mae Farm, 2518 Winter St.
The public is invited to attend and learn about the program, as well as take a tour of the farm, sample recipes made with fresh produce and attend the first Farm Stand of the season.
The Johnnie Mae Farm Stand opens at 2 p.m. and fresh produce will be available to purchase while supplies last. Brief remarks from Mayor Tucker and others involved with the program will begin at 3 p.m., followed by a tour of the farm and kitchen.
