FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – As northeast Indiana deals with a stretch of high heat, experts say drivers should be taking extra steps to protect their vehicles.
Temperatures have hovered in the 90s for much of the week. That kind of heat can put additional stress on key vehicle systems including the engine, tires, and battery.
