Indiana Weather Alert: Storms May Bring 55 MPH Winds to Fort Wayne, Toledo Between 2–10 p.m. Monday

Fort Wayne, Ind. – Scattered storms could sweep across northeast Indiana, northwest Ohio, and southern Lower Michigan Monday afternoon, bringing the risk of damaging wind gusts and heavy rain between 2 and 10 p.m. EDT.

According to the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana, confidence in severe storm development remains low, but any thunderstorms that form may produce wind gusts reaching 55 mph. The Level 1 marginal risk zone includes Fort Wayne, South Bend, Toledo, and surrounding areas.

Strong winds may knock down tree limbs or temporarily disrupt power, especially in rural or poorly sheltered areas.
