Prosecutors seek ‘gang enhancement’ charges against alleged ‘Outlaws’ involved in Pikes Pub attack

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Allen County Prosecutor’s Office has filed motions to add a “criminal gang” enhancement charge for each of the six men accused in a violent beating a month ago at a bar.

Court records show that Friday, prosecutors filed motions to add the enhancement charge to the cases against Vard Warnock, Justin Wert, Jerrad Impton, Douglas Zuber, Ryan Minick and Christopher Yoho.

The six men are accused of beating James Simmons, a Black man, at Pikes Pub just outside Fort Wayne city limits on May 30. With varying accounts of what led to the attack, many are calling it racially motivated. And all of the men are allegedly part of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club…
