First Alert Forecast: Slightly cooler dip for Monday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A quick dip in temperatures takes us back to the upepr 70s and lower 80s for highs today. Humidity will be a bit lower in comparison to the holiday weekend, but it will gradually build back in later this week.

Skies stay mostly cloudy for the majority of the day, but some clearing is expected by this evening. An isolated shower is possible at some point during the day, but this does not look to be long-lasting or widespread. More chances for showers and storms will develop Wednesday and on in the forecast. We’ll have multiple opportunities for pop-up showers and storms as the heat and humidity build. Rain chances will pick up a bit more into the upcoming weekend.
