FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Months after announcing a location coming to Auburn, Sonic Drive-In says it is officially making a comeback in Fort Wayne as well.
The fast food restaurant announced the return on its social media Tuesday. Until 2010, there was a Sonic on Lima Road and another on Maplecrest Road. The drive-in had other locations in the region that shut down that year as well: in Auburn and Van Wert, Ohio.
According to the social media post, the two Fort Wayne drive-ins are set to open over the next two years. The exact locations haven’t been announced, and the social media post encouraged Fort Wayne residents to comment where they’d like Sonic to be built in the city…
