Police asking for help finding car involved in hit and run that injured pedestrian

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Fort Wayne Police are investigating a hit and run that occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The blue 2015 Chevy Cruz hit a pedestrian in the intersection of Illinois and Scott roads, and drove off. The pedestrian is currently in the hospital in intensive care, suffering from multiple fractures and internal injuries, according to a press release from the FWPD.

Police are asking for assistance in locating this car, which should have front end damage, including a dented hood and a broken windshield. The license plate is 998EDZ.
