Facebook Marketplace car deal turns into armed robbery; 18-year-old charged

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – An 18-year-old suspect in a May car robbery has been formally charged, according to Allen Superior Court documents filed Thursday.

Kalin Anderson faces a felony charge of robbery armed with a deadly weapon.

Police wrote in court documents that on May 24, Anderson met up with the victim, who was selling a Chrysler 300 on Facebook Marketplace. The two met up at a church on Carroll Road, and another man was allegedly with Anderson but has not been formally charged in the case…
