DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – A semitruck crashed in a construction zone on Interstate 69 early Wednesday morning near Auburn.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, a truck driver from Ontario, Canada said one of his tires went flat around 1:45 a.m. That caused the semi to hit barriers and come to a stop in the median near the 329 mile-marker.
The Auburn Police Department guided traffic through the construction zone while multiple towing companies worked to remove the damaged semi from the median. It took “many attempts” to remove the semi and its loaded trailer, according to the press release…
