FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Fort Wayne Police Department are investigating a crash off Butler Road that left one man dead Saturday night.
Sgt. Jonathan Cutler said around 7:40 p.m. on Saturday, officers and Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control arrived to the 2300 block of Butler Road to find a car that was on fire, crashed into a tree. Both agencies assisted in using a fire extinguisher to help put out the fire.
A man, who police say was the driver, was trapped inside the car. He was extracted from the car by the Fort Wayne Fire Department and taken to a hospital, where he died…
