FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – Cooler weather arrives later in the work week!
The end of the weekend will feature mainly cloudy skies and more hot and humid weather! Afternoon highs will max out in the upper 80s with heat index values ranging from 95-100 degrees later today. Sunday will also bring the shot of occasional showers and storms throughout the day, but it will be far from a washout! A few storms may contain some cloud to ground lightning, localized heavy downpours, and small hail! I would not be surprised if one or two storms turn severe, but the threat of severe weather will remain very low for the day!
First Alert Weather Days are in place for Monday and Tuesday as the combination of high heat and humidity will send highs in the low 90s and feel-like temps greater than 100-degrees at times during the two-day stretch. Both days appear to have a small chance of rain, but it looks to stay mainly dry for tomorrow and Tuesday!…
