First Alert Forecast: Cold front brings rain tonight, cooler temperatures for tomorrow and into the weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – We are waiting for a cold front to cross today, which will bring a big pattern flip into the end of the week. The chance of showers and a few isolated storms tonight through tomorrow morning before the front will be the start of that pattern flip. There is a level 1, Marginal, risk for severe weather tonight and tomorrow with the only concerns being localized heavy rainfall and strong wind gusts.

After rain departs tomorrow, it will be time to enjoy a drier and cooler end to the week and weekend. Over the next 6 days we will be below average for temperatures under partly to mostly sunny skies. Highs for Thursday will stay in the mid 70s before slowly creeping up near 80 degrees by the end of the weekend. It will be a very nice weekend to go out and enjoy…..
